Overview
Sunday Echoes ("the App") is operated by Jonathan Malm Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We built Sunday Echoes for personal use of sermon notes. We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your information with third parties except as described below.
Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Sermon notes, personal reflections, and session details you create in the app
- Sermon audio recorded through the app (see On-Device Processing below)
- Personal notes you write about yourself ("Me" notes used to personalize devotionals)
- Your Apple ID (name and email), only if you choose to Sign in with Apple
Information collected automatically:
- Anonymous user identifier assigned at first launch
- Subscription status and purchase history (managed by RevenueCat)
- Basic app usage necessary to deliver features
On-Device Processing
Sermon audio is transcribed entirely on your device using WhisperKit. Audio recordings are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. Only the resulting text transcript is stored.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Sync your notes, sessions, and devotionals across your devices (when signed in)
- Generate personalized 6-day devotional arcs from your sermon notes
- Provide word study context for scripture passages
- Process your subscription and restore purchases
- Look up scripture passages you reference
Third-Party Services
Sunday Echoes uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

Anthropic processes your sermon notes and transcripts solely to generate devotionals and word study responses. Per Anthropic's Commercial Terms, Anthropic does not use API customer data to train their models. You retain ownership of all inputs and outputs.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security — only you can access your own data. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Sunday Echoes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
