Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Sunday Echoes ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Jonathan Malm Limited ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Sunday Echoes is a personal sermon companion app for iOS that provides sermon note-taking, audio transcription, scripture lookup, AI-generated devotionals, and word study features.

3. Subscriptions

Free tier: All users may create sessions, take notes, search, look up scripture, and transcribe sermons at no cost. Free users receive one free use of Devotional Generation and one free use of Word Study.

Sunday Echoes Pro: Unlimited access to Devotional Generation and Word Study.

Pricing:

Free trial: New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Account

You may use Sunday Echoes without creating an account. To sync your data across devices, you may sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all notes, reflections, and other content you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the service — including sending relevant content to AI services for devotional generation and word study.

You agree not to use the App to store or process content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others.

Devotionals and word study content are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). This content is provided for personal reflection and spiritual encouragement only. It is not theological counsel, biblical scholarship, or professional advice. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or theological correctness of AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Jonathan Malm Limited and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JONATHAN MALM LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the State of Texas.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
