How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store — not through Sunday Echoes directly.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Sunday Echoes and tap Cancel Subscription

Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Your Pro access will be restored automatically. If it doesn't appear within a few minutes, go to Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app.

Is my audio ever uploaded to the cloud?

No. Sermon audio is transcribed entirely on your device using WhisperKit. The audio recording itself is never transmitted to any server — ours or anyone else's. Only the resulting text transcript is stored.

How do I sync my notes across devices?

Tap the profile icon in the top left of the main screen and sign in with Apple. Once signed in, your sessions, notes, and devotionals will sync automatically across all your devices using the same Apple ID.

Does Sunday Echoes work without an account?

Yes. You can create sessions, take notes, record and transcribe audio, and look up scripture with no account at all. An account (Sign in with Apple) is only needed for cross-device sync.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email us at privacy@sundayechoes.com with "Delete my account" in the subject line. We'll permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

The transcription isn't working — what should I try?

A few things to check:

  • Make sure Sunday Echoes has microphone permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
  • The first transcription requires downloading the WhisperKit model (~50MB) — make sure you have a stable connection for that initial download
  • Close and reopen the app and try again

How are AI devotionals generated?

When you generate a devotional, Sunday Echoes sends your sermon notes and transcript to Anthropic's Claude API. Claude reads what you actually heard and produces a 6-day reflection plan tailored to that specific sermon.

Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, your data is never used to train AI models. You own everything you write.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes everything you need to capture and review sermons: sessions, all four note types, on-device transcription, scripture lookup, and search. You also get one free AI devotional and one free word study to try out the Pro features.

Pro ($3.99/month or $35.99/year) adds unlimited AI devotional generation and unlimited word studies, plus cross-device sync. A 14-day free trial is available.
